Mpower1 Sells Pedalite International to Mike Gahan and Joe Caddell.

Mpower1 announces that it has sold its interests in Pedalite International Ltd, a company that specialises in manufacturing, marketing and distributing specialised battery free products for the cycling and equestrian markets, for an undisclosed value to experienced entrepreneurs Mike Gahan and Joe Caddell, based in the UK.

Since 2007 Pedalite International has successfully developed and marketed battery free pedal lights, solar powered ankle and arm lights and bag lights that attached to backpacks. The company has operated worldwide from a UK base under the direction of Mpower1 International.

Mpower1 continues to operate its group of companies which cover software and services across various industry sectors, including its continuing operations in MultiValue (such as the successful mv.NET, mv.SSIS products and the new Evoke toolset). The sale forms part of the Mpower1 strategy which will allow the company to focus more effectively on their Evoke rapid multi-platform application development product, and Reach Delivery their fast expanding, secure document delivery and control service.

Simon Theobald, a director of Mpower1 International says ‘This planned divestiture is a very positive sale for the Mpower1 group. With recent new product launches in both the multi value and document delivery/control market sectors the group can now focus attention on support these sectors.”
